Hailing from the cool-climate Weill a Way Vineyard in the southern reaches of Sonoma Valley, Bedrock Wine Co.'s 'Exposition One' Syrah is a masterclass in site-specific, Northern Rhône-style winemaking. The 'Exposition' series represents Morgan Twain-Peterson MW's deep dive into the diverse blocks and clonal variations of this exceptional vineyard. Influenced by chilly breezes from the San Pablo Bay, the grapes undergo a slow, even ripening process that preserves vibrant natural acidity and coaxes out intense aromatic complexity. Crafted with a significant proportion of whole-cluster fermentation and aged in large, mostly neutral French oak puncheons, this wine showcases a striking balance of dark berry fruit, smoked meats, black olive tapenade, and freshly cracked black pepper, embodying the wild, savory soul of classic cool-climate Syrah.

Bedrock Wine Co. blev grundlagt i Sonoma, Californien, i 2007 af vinmageren Morgan Twain-Peterson MW med en dedikeret mission om at genoprette og bevare statens historiske vinmarker med gamle vinstokke.
