Crafted by the visionary Stéphane Tissot, the 'Rose Massale' is a singular and captivating expression of Jura Chardonnay. The wine takes its name from a rare, pink-skinned mutation of Chardonnay (Chardonnay Rose) propagated through meticulous massal selection (sélection massale) from ancient vines. Grown in the clay and limestone soils of Arbois, the grapes yield a wine of stunning complexity and a subtle, shimmering golden-pink hue. Tissot vinifies this cuvée in the 'ouillé' (topped-up) style, avoiding the traditional oxidative veil to preserve the vibrant, pristine fruit and intense, saline minerality. Fermented with indigenous yeasts and aged in French oak barrels with minimal sulfur, it represents a masterclass in biodynamic viticulture and terroir expression.
