Pioneered by Beringer in the 1960s, this volcanic, alluvial terroir is perfectly suited for classic Bordeaux varietals. The blend is traditionally dominated by Sémillon and Sauvignon Blanc, sometimes accented with small touches of Chardonnay or Viognier.
