Beringer's Alluvium Blanc is a sophisticated, Bordeaux-style white blend sourced from the stony, well-drained soils of Knights Valley in Sonoma County. Pioneered by Beringer in the 1960s, this volcanic, alluvial terroir is perfectly suited for classic Bordeaux varietals. The blend is traditionally dominated by Sémillon and Sauvignon Blanc, sometimes accented with small touches of Chardonnay or Viognier. Sémillon provides a rich, viscous texture with notes of fig and melon, while the Sauvignon Blanc injects vibrant acidity and bright citrus elements. Often partially barrel-fermented and aged on its lees, this wine pays homage to the historic white Graves style while showcasing the sun-drenched intensity of Northern California.

Beringer Vineyards blev grundlagt i 1876 af brødrene Jacob og Frederick Beringer og er i dag Californiens ældste kontinuerligt fungerende vinhus, beliggende i hjertet af St. Helena i Napa Valley. Som pionerer inden for tidlig vinproduktion i Napa udhuggede Beringer-brødrene kalkstensgrotter med håndkraft og etablerede kældre baseret på tyngdekraftsprincippet for at skabe raffinerede og lagringsværdige vine.
