Beringer's Chabot Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon is a legendary expression of Napa Valley terroir, originating from a historic site nestled in the eastern foothills of the St. Helena AVA. First planted in the mid-19th century and sourcing Beringer's very first single-vineyard Cabernet bottling in 1977, Chabot is renowned for its unique volcanic ash and gravelly soils. This distinctive terroir, combined with warm daytime temperatures and cool evening breezes, yields a deeply concentrated, structured Cabernet Sauvignon. The wine is celebrated for its signature aromatic profile of dark blackberry, cassis, and a classic touch of mint or eucalyptus, underpinned by robust, chalky tannins. Beringer Vineyards blev grundlagt i 1876 af brødrene Jacob og Frederick Beringer og er i dag Californiens ældste kontinuerligt fungerende vinhus, beliggende i hjertet af St. Helena i Napa Valley.
