Beringer's Home Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon is a liquid testament to the living history of Napa Valley. Located in St. Helena, directly behind the iconic Rhine House built by Frederick Beringer in the late 19th century, this historic vineyard represents the very cradle of the estate. Founded in 1876 by brothers Jacob and Frederick Beringer, the winery is one of California's oldest continuously operating estates. The Home Vineyard benefits from the warm St. Helena microclimate and deep, well-drained alluvial soils at the foot of the Mayacamas Mountains. This terroir yields a Cabernet Sauvignon of remarkable depth, concentration, and structural elegance. Typically crafted from 100% Cabernet Sauvignon, the wine undergoes traditional fermentation followed by extensive aging in French oak barrels, resulting in a classic Napa style defined by rich blackberry, cassis, and subtle cocoa notes, framed by velvety, age-worthy tannins.

Beringer Vineyards blev grundlagt i 1876 af brødrene Jacob og Frederick Beringer og er i dag Californiens ældste kontinuerligt fungerende vinhus, beliggende i hjertet af St. Helena i Napa Valley. Som pionerer inden for tidlig vinproduktion i Napa udhuggede Beringer-brødrene kalkstensgrotter med håndkraft og etablerede kældre baseret på tyngdekraftsprincippet for at skabe raffinerede og lagringsværdige vine.
