✨ wine.spec_sheet

Perched at an impressive 2,400 feet atop Howell Mountain, the Lampyridae Vineyard is one of the highest vineyard sites in the Napa Valley. Named after the scientific family for fireflies (Lampyridae), which illuminate the surrounding pine forests at night, this rugged site is defined by volcanic soils and extreme elevation. Beringer, a historic estate founded in 1876, crafts this single-vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon to showcase the intense, structured character of mountain fruit. The wine is typically composed of 100% Cabernet Sauvignon, aged in premium French oak barrels. It exhibits deep, concentrated flavors of blackberry, cassis, and graphite, framed by the powerful, chalky tannins and vibrant acidity characteristic of Howell Mountain's unique microclimate.
