Situated above the fog line, this vineyard is characterized by volcanic soils and extreme diurnal temperature shifts, which force the vines to struggle. This struggle results in small, thick-skinned berries with immense concentration and structured tannins. Crafted predominantly from Cabernet Sauvignon and aged in French oak barrels, this single-vineyard expression captures the classic mountain style—marrying intense dark fruit profiles of blackberry and cassis with complex notes of graphite, crushed stone, and wild herbs.
