Beringer Vineyards, established in 1876, is one of Napa Valley's most historic and enduring estates. The Vogt Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon showcases the rugged, high-altitude terroir of the Howell Mountain AVA. Situated above the fog line, this vineyard is characterized by volcanic soils and extreme diurnal temperature shifts, which force the vines to struggle. This struggle results in small, thick-skinned berries with immense concentration and structured tannins. Crafted predominantly from Cabernet Sauvignon and aged in French oak barrels, this single-vineyard expression captures the classic mountain style—marrying intense dark fruit profiles of blackberry and cassis with complex notes of graphite, crushed stone, and wild herbs.

Beringer Vineyards blev grundlagt i 1876 af brødrene Jacob og Frederick Beringer og er i dag Californiens ældste kontinuerligt fungerende vinhus, beliggende i hjertet af St. Helena i Napa Valley.
