Hailing from the cool, fog-kissed Bennett Valley AVA in Sonoma County, the Dry Stack Vineyard is legendary for its rocky, volcanic soils and the historic hand-laid stone walls that give the site its name. Russell Bevan harnesses this unique terroir to craft a Syrah of immense power and striking complexity. The vineyard's cool climate allows for an extended growing season, resulting in a wine that beautifully balances intense dark fruit flavors with savory elements of black pepper, smoked meats, and crushed stones. Bevan Cellars blev grundlagt i 2005 af den anerkendte, autodidakte vinmager Russell Bevan og Victoria De Crescenzo og har siden etableret sig som en af Californiens mest prestigefyldte og topanmeldte kultproducenter.
