The Bevan Cellars Showket Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon represents a legendary chapter in Napa Valley's modern wine history. Situated on the iron-rich, red volcanic soils of the eastern hills of Oakville, the Showket Vineyard was highly prized for producing grapes of extraordinary concentration and complexity. Winemaker Russell Bevan harnessed this exceptional terroir to craft a spectacularly opulent, full-bodied Cabernet Sauvignon defined by intense dark fruit, graphite, and seamless tannins. This bottling remains a collector's treasure, particularly because the vineyard was acquired by Peter Michael Winery in 2009, making these early Bevan releases rare relics of a celebrated Oakville site.
