The Showket Vineyard, nestled on the eastern hillsides of Oakville in the Vaca Mountain range, is legendary for its iron-rich, red volcanic soils. Positioned adjacent to the famed Dalla Valle estate, this site benefits from exceptional sun exposure and well-drained slopes. Winemaker Russell Bevan crafted the 'EE' Red Cuvee—named in honor of Victoria De Crescenzo's daughter, Elyse Elizabeth—to showcase the seamless synergy between Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc from this unique terroir. The wine is celebrated for its opulent texture, towering structure, and intense aromatic complexity, reflecting Bevan's signature style of pushing ripeness to its absolute peak while retaining remarkable purity.
