Sourced from a microscopic, prized parcel in the heart of the Oakville AVA—situated on the famed eastern bench adjacent to Screaming Eagle—this vineyard features iron-rich, volcanic red soils and fractured rock. Winemaker Russell Bevan coaxes immense power, opulent texture, and profound depth from this terroir. The wine is celebrated for its lavish, full-bodied profile, boasting intense notes of creme de cassis, liquid graphite, and exotic spices, framed by remarkably plush, velvety tannins that have become a hallmark of Bevan's signature style. Bevan Cellars was founded in 2005 by self-taught winemaker Russell Bevan, quickly ascending to cult status within California's fine wine landscape.
