To celebrate this cinematic heritage, Bollinger released the ultra-exclusive James Bond Crystal Set. Created in collaboration with the historic Saint-Louis crystal works, this spectacular collector's piece houses a magnum of Bollinger's prestigious R.D. (Récemment Dégorgé) Champagne, specifically from the monumental 1988 vintage. Reflecting Bollinger's signature style, the wine is dominated by Pinot Noir sourced from Grand and Premier Cru vineyards, fermented entirely in seasoned oak casks, and aged for decades on its lees under cork before a late disgorgement. Established in 1829 in Aÿ by Hennequin de Villermont, Paul Renaudin, and Jacques Bollinger, Maison Bollinger endures as one of Champagne's preeminent independent, family-owned Grandes Marques. Its identity was indelibly forged under the visionary stewardship of Madame Lily Bollinger in the mid-twentieth century. The estate controls approximately 180 hectares of vineyards, dominated by Grand and Premier Cru parcels across the Montagne de Reims and Vallée de la Marne, rooted in deep Belemnite chalk and limestone.
