Bollinger's PN series was launched to showcase the unique expressions of Pinot Noir across the diverse terroirs of Champagne. The PN TX17 edition is a Blanc de Noirs crafted predominantly from Pinot Noir grown in the premier cru of Tauxières, with the 2017 vintage serving as its base. Tauxières is celebrated for its chalky soils that impart a distinct energy, structure, and precision to the Pinot Noir grape. To balance the challenging, cool 2017 growing season, Bollinger incorporated older reserve wines, including some aged in magnums under cork for up to 11 years, bringing the house's signature richness, complexity, and velvety texture. Fermented in seasoned oak casks and aged on its lees, this cuvée represents a masterful dialogue between a single grape, a specific base year, and Bollinger's historic blending heritage.
