The name 'Corv es de C teaux' evokes the deep historical roots of Burgundy, referencing the medieval Cistercian monks of C teaux Abbey who painstakingly mapped and cultivated the finest terroirs of Beaune. While this specific climat is famously associated as a monopole of another historic Beaune house, Bouchard P re & Fils represents the pinnacle of Beaune Premier Cru white winemaking. Crafted from Chardonnay grown in the clay-limestone soils of the C te de Beaune, these Premier Cru whites are vinified with meticulous precision. The grapes are gently pressed and fermented in French oak barrels, then aged in the cool, subterranean cellars of the 15th-century Ch teau de Beaune. The resulting style is one of classic Burgundian elegance: a brilliant pale-gold color, an expressive bouquet of white flowers, fresh citrus, and toasted brioche, balanced by a vibrant minerality and a beautifully textured, lingering finish.

Bouchard Père & Fils blev grundlagt i 1731 af Michel Bouchard og er et af Bourgognes ældste og mest agtede vinhuse, med base i det historiske Château de Beaune fra det 15. århundrede. Gennem næsten tre århundreders omhyggelige opkøb har vinhuset opbygget en enestående mosaik af vinmarker, som i dag dækker omkring 130 hektar i Côte d'Or, herunder en lang række prestigefyldte Grand Cru- og Premier Cru-parceller.
