Brancott Estate holds a pioneering place in New Zealand's wine history, famously planting the very first commercial vineyards in Marlborough in the 1970s. While celebrated for Sauvignon Blanc, their exploration of Pinot Noir helped define the Southern Hemisphere's cool-climate red wine profile. The Reserve Pinot Noir is sourced from select low-yielding vineyards across the Marlborough region, where warm days and cool nights preserve the grape's natural acidity and vibrant red fruit character. Traditionally fermented in small batches and aged in a selection of French oak barriques, this wine beautifully balances the bright, crunchy red cherry and plum notes of Marlborough with subtle savory undertones, soft tannins, and a touch of sweet spice.

Brancott Estate blev oprindeligt grundlagt som Montana Wines i 1934 af Ivan Yukich og sidenhen opkaldt efter vinhusets ikoniske hjemmemark. Huset indtager en legendarisk position i vinhistorien som den pioner, der i 1973 plantede de allerførste vinstokke i Marlboroughs Brancott Valley.
