Established in the late 1990s, this vineyard is celebrated for its granitic gravel and clay soils, which impart a distinct mineral signature. The Indigo Vineyard Chardonnay represents a beautiful marriage of Brokenwood's meticulous winemaking and Beechworth's unique high-altitude terroir. Typically fermented in French oak puncheons and barriques using indigenous yeasts, the wine undergoes regular lees stirring to develop a rich, textured palate that perfectly balances vibrant stone fruit characters with a flinty, crisp acidity.
