Hailing from the sun-drenched hills of Sicily, Cantine Nicosia's Frappato Bio Vegan is a vibrant celebration of one of the island's most beloved indigenous red grape varieties. Frappato has a long and storied history in southeastern Sicily, cherished for its wonderfully aromatic and light-bodied character. This expression is crafted with a modern, eco-conscious philosophy, certified both organic and vegan. Grown in soils rich in sand and clay, the grapes are harvested at optimal freshness to preserve their signature primary fruit aromas. By eschewing animal-derived fining agents and practicing low-intervention winemaking, Nicosia delivers a pure, joyful, and highly expressive red that captures the breezy, Mediterranean spirit of Sicily.

Founded in 1898 by Francesco Nicosia, Cantine Nicosia is a historic family-owned winery located in Trecastagni on the eastern slopes of Mount Etna in Sicily, Italy. Today, under the stewardship of Carmelo Nicosia and his sons, the estate champions sustainable and organic viticulture across its high-altitude volcanic vineyards, particularly on the ancient Monte Gorna crater. The winery is highly renowned for its expressive Etna DOC wines crafted from indigenous varieties like Nerello Mascalese and Carricante, as well as its elegant Sosta Tre Santi Metodo Classico sparkling wines.
