The 'Generazione Mille898' range by Cantine Nicosia pays tribute to the founding year of the estate, celebrating over a century of Sicilian winemaking heritage. This Catarratto showcases one of Sicily's most historic and characterful indigenous white grape varieties. Grown in vineyards that benefit from the intense Mediterranean sunshine and cooling maritime breezes, the grapes develop excellent aromatic complexity while maintaining a vibrant natural acidity. To preserve the pristine fruit character and the delicate floral and citrus notes typical of the variety, the wine is fermented and aged entirely in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks, resulting in a fresh, bright, and mineral-driven expression of the Sicilian terroir.
