The Generazione Mille898 line by Cantine Nicosia pays tribute to the winery's founding year of 1898, celebrating over a century of Sicilian winemaking heritage. While the Nicosia family is famous for their high-altitude volcanic wines on Mount Etna, this bottling shines a spotlight on Frappato, one of Sicily's most historic and charismatic indigenous red grapes. Sourced from vineyards that benefit from the island's intense sunshine and cooling sea breezes, this wine is crafted entirely in stainless steel tanks to preserve its delicate floral aromas and bright red fruit profile. It represents a joyful, fresh, and highly approachable style of Sicilian red wine that captures the vibrant spirit of the Mediterranean coast.
