This Nero d'Avola represents a celebration of Sicily's most famous indigenous red grape, sourced from vineyards that benefit from the island's intense sunshine and cooling sea breezes. Crafted to showcase the pure, vibrant character of the variety, the wine undergoes temperature-controlled fermentation in stainless steel to preserve its bright fruit profile. Cantine Nicosia er en historisk siciliansk vingård, grundlagt i 1898 af Francesco Nicosia og beliggende på Etnas østlige skråninger i Trecastagni. Gennem fem generationer i familiens eje har vinhuset etableret sig som en passioneret ambassadør for Siciliens vulkanske terroir og oprindelige druesorter – altid med fokus på certificeret økologisk vindyrkning og moderne, bæredygtig vinfremstilling.
