Hailing from the high-altitude volcanic slopes of Mount Etna, Cantine Nicosia's Lenza di Munti 720 takes its name from the traditional lava-stone terraces (lenze) and the precise elevation of 720 meters above sea level where these vines thrive. This Etna Bianco is a brilliant expression of mountain viticulture, shaped by the extreme diurnal temperature shifts and fertile, mineral-rich black volcanic sands of the volcano. The wine is crafted from indigenous Sicilian varieties, primarily Carricante and Catarratto, which are vinified in stainless steel and aged on the fine lees to preserve their vibrant, pristine character. The result is a white wine of striking tension, marked by intense flinty minerality, wild wildflower aromas, and a distinct saline finish that echoes the coastal breezes of eastern Sicily.
