Hailing from the high-altitude volcanic slopes of Mount Etna, Lenza di Munti 720 Rosato takes its name from the 'lenze'—the traditional narrow terraces of lava stone that carve the Sicilian mountainside—and the specific elevation of 720 meters above sea level where the vineyards thrive. This extreme viticultural environment, defined by fertile black volcanic sands and dramatic diurnal temperature swings, shapes a rosé of remarkable tension and character. Crafted primarily from the indigenous Nerello Mascalese grape, the wine undergoes brief skin contact to extract its brilliant pale-pink hue, followed by fermentation and short aging in stainless steel to preserve its vibrant fruit and mineral-driven energy. It beautifully captures the dual nature of Etna: the fiery intensity of the volcano tempered by the cool, alpine-like breezes of the high slopes.
