High up on the fertile, volatile slopes of Mount Etna, the Lenza di Munti takes its name from the historic stone-walled terraces (lenze) that climb the ancient volcano. The number 720 proudly denotes the altitude in meters above sea level where these vines thrive in dark, mineral-rich volcanic sands. This red blend captures the wild, dramatic spirit of Etna, combining the structure and elegance of Nerello Mascalese with the vibrant color and soft fruit of Nerello Cappuccio. Cultivated under the intense Sicilian sun and cooled by high-altitude mountain breezes, the grapes undergo careful maceration and aging in a combination of stainless steel and oak casks. The result is a wine of striking tension, perfumed with wild berries, volcanic ash, and Mediterranean scrub, reflecting a winemaking heritage shaped by the moods of Europe's most active volcano.

Founded in 1898 by Francesco Nicosia, Cantine Nicosia is a historic Sicilian estate situated on the eastern slopes of Mount Etna in Trecastagni.
