Perched on the steep slopes of Mount Etna, the Monte Gorna vineyard sits on the slopes of an ancient, extinct volcanic crater. The unique terroir of this high-altitude site is characterized by dark, porous volcanic sands rich in minerals, which lend a distinctive saline complexity and vibrant acidity to the wine. Under the shadow of Europe's most active volcano, locally revered as a living, breathing maternal force, these vines benefit from intense Sicilian sunshine paired with cool mountain nights. This Etna Bianco is crafted to showcase the pure, mineral-driven expression of the volcano, utilizing gentle pressing and temperature-controlled fermentation in stainless steel to preserve its bright citrus, white flower, and flinty aromas.
