Now owned and produced under the global portfolio of Diageo, the brand's foundational style evolved from a unique spiced rum recipe originally crafted by Kingston pharmacists, the Levy Brothers. Distilled from sugarcane molasses using a combination of continuous column and traditional pot distillation, the rums are expertly blended and aged in charred American white oak barrels to achieve their distinctive vanilla and spice character.
