Hailing from the wild, pristine frontier of Chilean Patagonia, Casa Silva's Lago Ranco Sauvignon Blanc represents a daring leap into extreme cool-climate viticulture. Grown in the Futrono vineyard overlooking the majestic, glacial waters of Lake Ranco in Chile's southern Austral region, these vines thrive in one of the southernmost commercial vineyards on Earth. Here, the vines dig deep into volcanic 'trumao' soils, braving high rainfall and cool temperatures moderated only by the thermal mass of the lake. This heroic viticulture yields a Sauvignon Blanc of extraordinary tension and purity, capturing the crisp, untamed essence of Patagonia with vibrant notes of green apple, citrus zest, and a distinct, flinty minerality born of its volcanic terroir.

Viña Casa Silva er et af Chiles mest traditionsrige og anerkendte familiedrevne vinhuse med vinrødder i Colchagua Valley, der strækker sig helt tilbage til 1892.
