Carmenere, a grape once thought extinct in Europe before its dramatic rediscovery in Chile in 1994, has become the country's signature variety. This wine is sourced from the family's estate vineyards in the Central Valley, where the warm daytime temperatures and cooling breezes from the Andes and Pacific create the ideal microclimate.
