Channing Daughters' Delaware Petillant Naturel is a vibrant celebration of New York's viticultural heritage, utilizing the historic Delaware grape—a pink-skinned hybrid discovered in Ohio in the mid-19th century but long associated with New York winemaking. Crafted using the ancient méthode ancestrale, this sparkling wine is bottled before primary fermentation finishes, trapping the natural carbon dioxide to create a gentle, playful effervescence. Unfiltered and unfined, it pours with a charming, cloudy haze. The maritime climate of Long Island's South Fork coaxes out bright tropical fruits, citrus zest, and delicate floral aromas from the Delaware grape, resulting in a rustic yet incredibly refreshing sparkler that bridges historical American grape growing with modern, low-intervention winemaking.

Channing Daughters Winery blev grundlagt i 1982, da venturekapitalisten og billedhuggeren Walter Channing plantede sine første Chardonnay-stokke i Bridgehampton. Sidenhen har vinhuset udviklet sig til en af de mest vovede og nytænkende producenter på Long Islands East End.
