Crafted on the South Fork of Long Island, Channing Daughters' Pétillant Naturel Bianco is a vibrant celebration of the ancient method of sparkling winemaking, known as méthode ancestrale. Winemaker Christopher Tracy coaxes this lively sparkling white wine by bottling it before the primary fermentation is complete, trapping the natural carbon dioxide to create a soft, persistent effervescence. Unfiltered and unfined, the wine remains on its primary lees, presenting a cloudy, texturally intriguing profile. The maritime influence of the nearby Atlantic Ocean and Peconic Bay infuses the grapes with a bright, saline acidity and fresh mineral character. This bottling captures the experimental, low-intervention spirit of the estate, offering a rustic yet precise snapshot of a single growing season on the East End.

Channing Daughters Winery blev grundlagt af Walter Channing, som plantede de første vinstokke i 1982 i Bridgehampton på Long Islands South Fork.
