✨ Technical Specifications
This rare white cuv e represents a fascinating chapter in Burgundian history, born from a prestigious partnership between the city of Dijon and Ch teau de Marsannay. The 'Vigne de l'Hospital de Dijon' refers to historical vineyard tracts legacy-gifted to the local hospital foundation (similar to the famous Hospices de Beaune). Since taking over the stewardship of these municipal vines, Ch teau de Marsannay has meticulously revived their reputation. The Cuv e de Maizi re is crafted from Chardonnay grown in the cooler, limestone-rich soils of the northern C te de Nuits. Vinified using traditional Burgundian methods and aged in French oak casks, this wine beautifully balances the natural tension and bright citrus minerality of its terroir with a subtle, rounded texture derived from lees contact.
