✨ Technical Specifications

This exceptional cuvée represents a historic partnership and a legacy of charity in Burgundy. The 'Vigne de l'Hospital de Dijon' (or Hospices de Dijon) refers to vineyards historically donated by generous benefactors to the local hospital to fund medical care for the poor, a tradition mirroring the famous Hospices de Beaune. The 'Cuvée Marie-Sophie Grangier' specifically honors one of these historical patrons. Since 2013, the prestigious Château de Marsannay has held the exclusive stewardship of these municipal vines, bringing their organic farming practices and meticulous Burgundian craftsmanship to the estate. Grown on the limestone-rich soils of the region, this Pinot Noir is vinified with traditional methods and aged in French oak casks, resulting in a wine that beautifully balances bright red berry fruit, earthy complexity, and elegant structural tannins.
