The Clos du Chateau Blanc is a celebrated monopole of Chateau de Meursault, sourced from an exceptional 8-hectare parcel situated directly in front of the historic chateau. Although classified under the regional Bourgogne Blanc appellation, this wine is treated with the same meticulous care as the estate's prestigious Premier Crus. The vineyard's terroir features a thin layer of clay-limestone soil over hard Bathonian limestone bedrock, imparting a signature mineral tension, precision, and elegance. Historically, these lands have been cultivated for centuries, dating back to the Capetian Dukes of Burgundy. Aged in French oak casks within the estate's legendary 12th-century double-vaulted cellars, the wine beautifully balances vibrant citrus and white flower aromas with a rich, textured palate of toasted hazelnut and brioche.

Tracing its origins back to the 11th century when it was established by Robert I, Duke of Burgundy, Château de Meursault stands as one of the most iconic and historic estates in the Côte de Beaune. Owned by the Halley family since 2012, the property spans over 65 hectares of prime vineyards across legendary appellations ranging from Puligny-Montrachet and Meursault to Volnay, Pommard, and Corton. The estate practices precise, parcel-by-parcel viticulture, aging its creations within magnificent vaulted cellars that date from the 12th to the 16th centuries.
