✨ Technical Specifications

Crafted from selected parcels of old Chardonnay vines, the Vieilles Vignes from Château de Meursault represents a deep connection to the limestone-rich soils of the Côte de Beaune. These ancient vines, with their deep root systems, yield lower quantities of highly concentrated fruit, imparting a signature mineral intensity and rich texture to the wine. Matured in French oak barrels within the estate's historic 12th-century double-vaulted cellars, this white Burgundy undergoes a slow aging process that beautifully integrates toasted brioche, hazelnut, and ripe stone fruit aromas, maintaining a vibrant acidity that defines the classic Meursault style.

🍾 About the Producer

Tracing its origins back to the 11th century when it was established by Robert I, Duke of Burgundy, Château de Meursault stands as one of the most iconic and historic estates in the Côte de Beaune. Owned by the Halley family since 2012, the property spans over 65 hectares of prime vineyards across legendary appellations ranging from Puligny-Montrachet and Meursault to Volnay, Pommard, and Corton. The estate practices precise, parcel-by-parcel viticulture, aging its creations within magnificent vaulted cellars that date from the 12th to the 16th centuries. Château de Meursault is celebrated worldwide for its opulent, mineral-laced Chardonnay expressions such as Clos du Château and Clos des Grands Charrons, alongside refined, structured Pinot Noirs from top premier crus like Volnay Clos des Chênes and Pommard Clos des Épenots.
