With origins tracing back to the eleventh century and historical cellars excavated beneath its sprawling estate, Château de Meursault represents one of the largest and most storied domaines in the Côte de Beaune. Acquired in 2012 by Olivier Halley and managed by Stéphane Follin-Arbelet, the estate spans roughly 65 hectares over more than one hundred distinct parcels across Aloxe-Corton, Savigny-lès-Beaune, Beaune, Volnay, Pommard, Meursault, and Puligny-Montrachet. Viticulture is strictly organic, achieving full certification across its climats with the 2022 vintage. Terroirs feature varied Jurassic limestone and clay marls on east- and southeast-facing slopes, farmed with an emphasis on biodiversity and living soils. Vinification balances Burgundian tradition with cutting-edge, low-carbon geothermal infrastructure, employing optical berry sorting, precise temperature-regulated fermentation, and measured French oak maturation.
