Chateau Tanunda's '100 Year Old Vines' Shiraz is a liquid monument to the Barossa Valley's extraordinary viticultural history. Sourced from Centenarian vines planted over a century ago, these ancient plants survived the global phylloxera epidemic on their own roots, anchored deep in the region's sandy loam soils. Because of their advanced age, these vines produce tiny, highly concentrated berries with remarkable depth of flavor. The winemaking team honors this precious fruit through traditional, low-intervention techniques, employing open-top fermenters and basket pressing before aging the wine in premium French oak hogsheads. The result is a profound, structured, and deeply complex Shiraz that captures the essence of Barossa's ancient terroir.

Chateau Tanunda blev grundlagt i 1890 og står i dag som et ikonisk vartegn i det berømte Barossa Valley i South Australia samt en sand hjørnesten i regionens rige vinhistorie.
