Chateau Tanunda's Grand Barossa Dry Riesling is a brilliant testament to the cooler, high-altitude terroirs of the Barossa zone, particularly the Eden Valley. While the Barossa Valley floor is legendary for its powerful, robust reds, the windswept, rocky soils of the adjacent Eden Valley hills provide the ideal microclimate for Riesling. Here, the vines benefit from cool night temperatures that preserve the grape's natural, vibrant acidity. Historically, Silesian settlers in the 19th century brought Riesling cuttings to South Australia, establishing a rich heritage of dry white winemaking. Chateau Tanunda captures this legacy by utilizing gentle pressing and cool fermentation in stainless steel to retain the pristine, aromatic purity of the fruit, resulting in a wine defined by crisp minerality, bright citrus notes, and elegant floral undertones.

Chateau Tanunda blev grundlagt i 1890 og står i dag som et ikonisk vartegn i det berømte Barossa Valley i South Australia samt en sand hjørnesten i regionens rige vinhistorie.
