Chateau Tanunda's 'The Newcastle' Marsanne Viognier Roussanne is a beautifully crafted white Rhône-style blend that pays tribute to the historic Barossa Valley's versatile terroir. While the Barossa is legendary for its bold reds, its unique microclimates and ancient soils also provide an exceptional canvas for white Rhône varieties. This blend artfully combines the rich, textured weight of Marsanne, the exotic, stone-fruit aromatics of Viognier, and the elegant acidity and structure of Roussanne. Sourced from select vineyards across the valley, the fruit is carefully handled, often undergoing cool fermentation in stainless steel with a portion aged in seasoned French oak to build complexity and mouthfeel without overpowering the delicate fruit profiles. The result is a harmonious, medium-to-full-bodied white wine that captures the sun-drenched warmth and historic soul of the estate.

Chateau Tanunda blev grundlagt i 1890 og står i dag som et ikonisk vartegn i det berømte Barossa Valley i South Australia samt en sand hjørnesten i regionens rige vinhistorie.
