The Everest Shiraz represents the absolute pinnacle of Chateau Tanunda's winemaking artistry, crafted only in exceptional vintages from some of the oldest surviving Shiraz vines in the Barossa Valley. Sourced from low-yielding, dry-grown vineyards that have weathered over a century of seasons, this wine is a testament to the region's unique viticultural heritage. The grapes are hand-picked and gently processed using traditional basket presses, followed by fermentation in open fermenters and extensive aging in premium French oak hogsheads. This meticulous, hands-on approach coaxes out an extraordinary depth of flavor, structural complexity, and a seamless velvety texture. Chateau Tanunda blev grundlagt i 1890 og står i dag som et ikonisk vartegn i det berømte Barossa Valley i South Australia samt en sand hjørnesten i regionens rige vinhistorie.
