The Marienburg Fahrlay Riesling Reserve is an extraordinary expression of the Mosel's steep slopes, originating from the highly prized Fahrlay parcel within the grand Pündericher Marienburg vineyard. This specific site is renowned for its rare, hard blue slate soil, which imparts a distinctive salty minerality and intense structural precision to the wine. Under the biodynamic stewardship of Clemens Busch, the grapes are harvested by hand and fermented spontaneously with wild yeasts. The 'Reserve' designation signifies extended aging on the lees in traditional, large neutral oak Fuder casks for up to two years or more. This patient process coaxes out a rich, textural complexity, balancing vibrant, crystalline acidity with deep stone fruit, herbal, and smoky mineral notes. It stands as a testament to the Busch family's dedication to capturing the pure, unadulterated voice of the blue slate.

Weingut Clemens Busch ligger i den maleriske landsby Pünderich på de dramatiske skråninger i Tysklands Mittelmosel.
