The Marienburg Fahrlay Terrassen Riesling GG represents the pinnacle of Clemens Busch's dry wine production, sourced from the ancient, terraced cliffs of the Pündericher Marienburg. This specific 'Fahrlay' parcel is legendary for its rare, hard blue slate (Blauschiefer) soils, which impart a distinctively saline, smoky, and deeply mineral character to the wine. The 'Terrassen' designation highlights the incredibly steep, hand-worked terraces where the vines must dig deep into the rock for nutrients. Steeped in history, the Marienburg vineyard takes its name from a historical fortress and convent dedicated to the Virgin Mary. Practicing strict biodynamics, Clemens Busch allows the wine to ferment spontaneously with wild yeasts in traditional, large oak Fuder casks, followed by extensive lees contact. The result is a dry Grosses Gewächs of monumental complexity, balancing intense stone fruit, herbal depth, and a vibrant, laser-like acidity that reflects the extreme terroir of the Mosel.

Weingut Clemens Busch ligger i den maleriske landsby Pünderich på de dramatiske skråninger i Tysklands Mittelmosel.
