Crafted from the legendary, steep slopes of the Pündericher Marienburg, this Spätlese carries the historic 'No. 82' designation, referencing the specific traditional oak Fuder cask in which the wine historically matured. The Marienburg vineyard itself is steeped in history, taking its name from a late-medieval Franciscan convent that once stood on the high ridge overlooking the loop of the Mosel River. Clemens Busch utilizes biodynamic viticulture to coax the purest expression of the vineyard's grey slate soils. The wine is fermented spontaneously, capturing a delicate tension between luscious natural residual sweetness and a piercing, stony minerality that defines classic Mosel Riesling. It is a testament to the family's dedication to minimal intervention and ancestral cellar practices.

Weingut Clemens Busch ligger i den maleriske landsby Pünderich på de dramatiske skråninger i Tysklands Mittelmosel. Vingården er blevet drevet af Clemens og Rita Busch, siden de overtog den historiske familieejendom i 1980’erne. De regnes som pionerer inden for økologisk og biodynamisk vindyrkning i regionen, og vinhuset er dedikeret til en naturlig tilgang med minimal intervention, der værner om økosystemet. Omdrejningspunktet for deres arbejde er den legendariske, sydvendte skråning Pündericher Marienburg, hvor forskellige parceller med både grå, rød og blå skifer vinificeres separat for at fremhæve det reneste terroirudtryk.
