🍾 About the Producer
Founded in 2007 by Stéphane Brocard, son of renowned Chablis winemaker Jean-Marc Brocard, Closerie des Alisiers is a boutique négociant-vinificateur based in Saint-Bris-le-Vineux in northern Burgundy. Stéphane established the house with a philosophy centered on sourcing fruit from exceptional, sustainably farmed plots across classic Burgundian terroirs. The domaine places great emphasis on minimal intervention, allowing the natural freshness, purity, and mineral tension of the region to guide each cuvée. Closerie des Alisiers is especially lauded for its luminous white wines, most notably expressions like Chablis Premier Cru Vieilles Vignes, which highlight the chalky Kimmeridgian soils and vibrant Chardonnay character.
