✨ Technical Specifications
Anna de Codorniu Brut Rosé pays tribute to the last heir of the Codorniu family dynasty, Anna, whose 1659 marriage to Miquel Raventós united two legendary winemaking families. This elegant Cava is crafted primarily from Pinot Noir, which lends its vibrant red fruit character and delicate salmon-pink hue, complemented by Chardonnay to add structure and freshness. Produced in the traditional method with aging on the lees in the historic cellars of San Sadurní d'Anoia, it represents a modern, fruit-forward expression of Spanish sparkling wine, balancing rich heritage with contemporary style.
🍾 About the Producer
With winemaking roots dating back to 1551, Codorníu is Spain's oldest family-owned enterprise and a founding pillar of the Cava denomination. Located in Sant Sadurní d'Anoia in the heart of Catalonia's Penedès region, the house made viticultural history in 1872 when Josep Raventós Fatjó crafted Spain's very first traditional-method sparkling wine. Operating from historic modernist cellars designated as a National Historic-Artistic Monument, Codorníu marries centuries-old tradition with continuous innovation, having pioneered the integration of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir alongside indigenous Macabeo, Xarel·lo, and Parellada grapes. Renowned worldwide for signature labels like Anna de Codorníu and the prestigious Ars Collecta collection, the estate remains committed to producing elegant, terroir-driven sparkling wines that reflect the rich diversity of northeastern Spain.
