Inspired by the O. Henry short story of the same name, 'The Lost Blend' is a legendary limited-edition release from the innovative blending house Compass Box. It was crafted as a spiritual successor to 'Eleuthera', Compass Box's very first blended malt, which had to be discontinued when key constituent whiskies became unavailable. To recreate this lost flavor profile, whiskies from the Clynelish, Caol Ila, and Allt-A-Bhainne distilleries were meticulously selected. The result is an elegant marriage of waxy, fruity Highland character with a delicate, earthy peat smoke from Islay, showcasing the absolute pinnacle of the blender's art.
