Founder John Glaser designed this limited release to push the boundaries of the classic Peat Monster profile, delivering a deeper, richer, and more complex experience. This blended malt combines heavily peated single malts from Islay—specifically featuring components from Caol Ila and Laphroaig—with a touch of peated Highland malt. Matured in a combination of first-fill and refill American oak casks, along with a small portion finished in custom toasted French oak, this expression balances intense, earthy peat smoke and maritime salinity with a surprising core of sweet orchard fruits, vanilla, and baking spices. It stands as a testament to the philosophy that peat is not just about power, but also about elegance and complexity.
