Compass Box Orangerie is a groundbreaking Scotch whisky infusion that pays homage to the grand glasshouses of the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries, where European aristocracy cultivated exotic citrus fruits. Moving away from the artificial flavorings common in modern liqueurs, the blending house revived the traditional art of the cordial. This expression begins with a blend of smooth Highland single malt and clean Lowland single grain whiskies. The spirit is then carefully infused with hand-peeled zest of fresh Spanish Navalino oranges, sweet Indonesian cassia bark, and aromatic Sri Lankan cloves. The result is a beautifully integrated, vibrant spirit where the warmth of Scotch whisky harmonizes with bright citrus oils and delicate baking spices.
