The name evokes the spirit of literary rogues and lavish, decadent feasts. This limited-edition expression is a masterclass in blending, combining heavy, fruit-forward single malts from Miltonduff and Glen Elgin, the waxy, textured complexity of Clynelish, and the soft, sweet grain influence of North British distillery. Aged primarily in recharred hogsheads and first-fill bourbon barrels, it offers a rich tapestry of tropical fruits, ginger, brioche, and honeyed sweetness, embodying the philosophy of whisky blending as a high art form.

Established in 2000 by visionary blender John Glaser, Compass Box is an independent boutique Scotch whiskymaking house dedicated to reimagining the traditions of blending. Operating out of its blending studio in Richmond, London, with warehouse maturation bases in Scotland, the firm approaches Scotch with the exacting philosophy of an artisan winemaker. Rather than relying on standard industrial recipes, Compass Box sources premier malt and grain distillates across Scotland, aging them in bespoke cooperage using toasted virgin French and American oak to highlight distinct structural and aromatic elements.
