The Marques de Casa Concha line was launched in 1976 as a tribute to the noble title bestowed upon the family of Concha y Toro's founder by King Philip V of Spain in 1718. This Cabernet Sauvignon is primarily sourced from the high-altitude, alluvial terraces of the Maipo Valley within Chile's Central Valley, specifically the renowned Puente Alto and El Mariscal vineyards. Nurtured by cool Andean breezes and gravelly soils, the grapes develop intense concentration and refined tannins. The wine is traditionally aged in French oak barrels for 12 to 16 months, yielding a classic, structured Chilean Cabernet characterized by vibrant red fruit, cassis, graphite, and subtle smoky notes.
