Casillero del Diablo Cabernet Sauvignon Reserva is steeped in one of the wine world's most famous legends. In the late 19th century, founder Don Melchor de Concha y Toro, seeking to protect his finest private reserve wines from thieves, spread the rumor that the devil himself guarded his dark cellars. The ruse worked perfectly, giving birth to the legendary 'Devil's Cellar' name. Today, this Cabernet Sauvignon is sourced from select vineyards across Chile's Central Valley, where warm sunny days and cooling breezes from the Andes create ideal ripening conditions. The wine is aged in French and American oak barrels, yielding a classic Chilean style characterized by ripe blackcurrant, plum, and subtle hints of vanilla and toasted oak.
